Ultra Sterasyl® is Doulton newest filter candle that removed 99.38 % of PFAS. The combination of a microfilter ceramic outer, granular activated carbon and heavy metal removal media effectively reduces a range of different contaminants including bacteria, trace organics, enhanced organics, pharmaceuticals and heavy metals such as lead. And as well as working with our gravity water filters, it’s also compatible with all other gravity fed water filter systems on the market.

Please Note: Only recommended for large filter candle inserts as these candle need a decent amount of gravity force to filter the water. They are taller than a standard Doulton, ceramic height nearly 5.6" (150mm). Some units like the Alabaster and Ming Rose, Southern Cross inserts might not have the water pressure to force the water through in 1 hour and may require constant filling and may take longer to drain.  Durand and large Billabong units will be fine. There will be NO Refund if this candle drains slower than a standard Doulton.  If in doubt buy the standard Doulton 5". 

Also Note:  Ultra Sterasyl® is Doulton is new to the market so we don't have marketing packaging material yet, so they will arrive in the plain white box, however from the base and material inside you can identify which filter candle it is.
