This purifier is a stylish and study elegant stoneware piece.

Color : Muddy Brown with some Green parts- Ancient Artifact looking, something from the Stone Age. (Small stone looking fragments of iron that appear on the surface during the firing process.)

Filtered water: approx. 10 litres of water available at any time, but the upper chamber can be full while the lower tank is full and once you use more water it will filter down to the lower tank.

All sizes are approximate as they are handmade in Australia.

The glaze is made from completely natural materials

Parts : These units have the base connected to the main tank and are a sturdy solid unit. The unit also has an upper ceramic insert(chamber) where the filter candle sit and above a ceramic lid. All parts are glazed for easy cleaning.

Includes quality Australis ceramic filter candle Model 288. (unless alternative filter candle is selected such as an UltraCeram Fluoride 97% reduction candle.) Model 288 usually last around 6 months (1000 litres) depending on water quality, but can last longer, while the Ultraceram 5" filter candle generally will filter 2000 litres.

Australis Ceramic Water Filter Candle filter down to 1 micron porosity, which allows it to filter out giardia and cryptosporidium. They also remove chlorine, chemicals, metals, sediment, bad taste and odours. However the filters do leave essential minerals including Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium to keep you healthy.

Model 288 - Town Water generally last <1000 litres or 6 months depending on water quality (default)

Doulton 5" upgrade - Filtering tank water last < 2000 litres or 12 months depending on water quality in tank

Ultraceram 5" upgrade - Finer filtering and removes fluoride generally last 1500-2000 litres or 12-14 months depending on water quality
