Making a purchase on web site

You have the option to register (so you don't have to re-key your details next time and receive discount coupons) or checkout as a guest at the bottom of the checkout page. Either way no financial details are kept by us, they are entered directly to eWay or payPal. You don't need to be registered in payPal or eWay either just select pay using Credit Card/ Debt Card once you have enter their page during the checkout process. Add Item to cart then select checkout and follow the process. In this process your have the option to send us a special note (like "Leave parcel at front door if not home") and to enter a discount coupon if you have one. You may need to switch off POP-UP blocker on your browse for our web site as it may stop the eWay or payPal pages from appearing.

Filter Candle arrives damaged

Don't panic you won't be out of pocket. Has the delivery package been squashed or punched by Australia Post ? If so take your package to your Post Office and lodge a claim. If the package looks ok then give us a call or send us an email through the contact us option on this web site.

All Purifier delivers are guaranteed and insured. If there are damages we will replace the part that is damaged during delivery.

How Long will my parcel take to arrive?

That depends totally on where you live. We do everything we can to have your water filter processed and packaged ready for delivery the very same day you order it. But failing that it will be sent the very next day.

If you live in a capital city you will have your filter/purifier or tap within 2 to 3 business day’s by Fastway Couriers or for PO BOX by Aust Post

If you live in a regional Centre allow 3 to 6 business day’s.

If you want it fast select 'Express Post' - Its so fast, that it arrives at the customer before I email the tracking code, but it can be expensive for heavy items.

In a remote rural area to be honest standard Aust Parcel post can take up to 7-10 business day’s.

** Please Note: Around Public holidays in the various states, no mail moves on these days, so even after public(state) holidays the parcels bank up at the Australia Post depot's until they can be processed.

Christmas/Easter time Australia Standard Post is very slow, best to select Express Post for lite items. Standard Australia Post can take more than a week during this period.

Water Candle Life

Ceramic Water Filter candles are to be used to filter town and tank water through a Water Purifier. If the tank water blocks the filter in a short space of time you may need to fit a particle filter on your tank's water supply. Average life of a Model 288 candle is around 6 months, however this does vary depending on water purifier use and original water quality. Remember to clean the candle if it slows down early, see packaging for instructions.

Fluoride Free (UltraCeram) or Model 288 candles?

The UltraCeram is a UK product that specialises in also removing 97% Fluoride, as well as all the other nasties the model 288 removes. They are larger so are expected to last longer and flow faster, however they are a lot more expensive too.

There is a big 2 sided argument as to whether fluoride should be in our water, and that’s what your decision will come down to. Most products don’t remove it because its hard to remove and too costly. Most people just want the water filtered from bacteria, dirt, chlorine and heavy metals and like the fluoride for flavour or don't care. Some people try it out just as a test. If you over filter water it does become flat tasting, these candles are popular and they have been on the market for many years now. I personally just use a normal filter because I don’t like the chlorine smell or taste and like the smooth feeling filtered water feels when it goes down my throat compared to unfiltered water. The Ultraceram filter candle is becoming very popular though.

Overseas Order

It is really only financially viable to send filter candles/taps overseas because it is calculated by weight. With heavy items like the ceramic/ming water purifier units, the cost of postage becomes greater than the Water Purifier you are purchasing, around $160+AUD. There are benefits to sending candles overseas, because the GST is removed from the price once you select an overseas country and the Australia dollar is low and the postage to New Zealand, UK, Hong Kong, China etc...isn't that high. I have sent Purifier units to New Zealand and Quatar. Contact me via contact us with Country, State and postcode and what you intend to purchase and I will reply with quote.
